According to researchers in Germany this natural red food dye combined with a related molecule O4 may help combat memory loss and diminished cognitive functions associated with Alzheimer’s Disease. The research team believes that this combination of Orcein and O4 may help eliminate the plaques associated with Alzheimer’s Disease that destroy the brain. The researchers are hopeful their findings will continue to spur more research.

Interesting article. I have bookmarked this.There is so much that we have to look at when we are dealing with the whole subject of senior’s health. What applies to people in their 30’s or 40’s doesn’t necessarily hold true for seniors. It’s great to have articles and sites like this whose focus is on seniors health. After all most of us (hopefully) will become one some day.
